NEW BOARD MEMBER

Aberdeen welcomes Steve Alvey to the Board of Directors.  Steve has lived in  Aberdeen since 6/15 with his wife and two daughters and has worked 27 years in law enforcement before finishing his career in management. 

For the past 6 1/2 years Mr. Alvey has worked as an independent contractor performing background investigations related to national security.  
The Easter Bunny visited Aberdeen on Sunday, April 9 to the delight of children young and old.

Lambert Produces Little Shop of Horrors, Grease
The Acting Troupe of Lambert brought The Little Shop of Horrors to life March 28-31. The musical stage production was created in 1982 by Alan Menken with lyrics and book by Howard Ashman and based on the 1960 film by Charles B. Griffith about a hapless florist's assistant who cultivates a man eating plant. Aberdonians involved in the production included Shannan Malone and Nick Schwartzmann, among others. The ATL is was recently recognized but the Arts Bridge Foundation 2017 Shuler Hensley Awards honorable mentions for James and the Giant Peach ensemble, choreography, and overall production. 

New Playground!
After months of planning, preparing, and pruning, new swings and slides were installed in February just in time for Spring play season. Thanks to all who helped out!

Aberdeen Board of Directors' meetings are held at the clubhouse on the first Monday of each month at 7:00pm.  Monthly Minutes and Treasurer's Reports may be found on the Aberdeen Website under Documents.  Any resident may attend monthly meetings, but please e-mail ahead if you wish to be included on the agenda: directors.abd@gmail.com.

The Semi-annual Aberdeen Community Garage Sale will be held on Saturday, May 13, from 8:00-3:00, rain or shine.

From the ACC:  Trashcans are not allowed in the open except on days when trash pickup occurs. They may be placed in front after 5:00 PM the night before pickup occurs and removed no later than 9:00 PM the day of service.  Thank you.
